Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wa-ka Planner mobile app and website (the "Service"), provided by Wa-ka Planner ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The service

Wa-ka Planner helps you plan public-transit routes, find nearby stops, and navigate within supported cities (currently Nairobi). Routes, schedules, fares, and travel estimates are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. You are responsible for your own travel decisions and safety.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

Wa-ka Planner Pro & payments

Wa-ka Planner offers an optional paid subscription, Wa-ka Planner Pro, which removes ads and unlocks additional features such as reward spins. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paystack. Subscriptions renew according to the plan you select until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Advertising

The free version of the Service displays advertising provided by third parties, including Google AdMob. Your use of advertising is also subject to those third parties' terms and policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Copy, scrape, or resell data from the Service without our permission.
• Misuse rewards, promotions, or referral features.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that routes, schedules, fares, or navigation will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wa-ka Planner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
